Privacy Policy
Your health data goes to your family. It never comes to us.

Who we are
ElderGuard Link is operated by Piksel Sekyuriti EOOD, Sofia, Bulgaria, which is the data controller for the purposes of this policy. You can reach us at [email protected].
What ElderGuard Link collects
On the monitored person's Apple Watch, the app reads the following from Apple Health, with their permission:
- Heart rate
- Heart rate variability (SDNN)
- Step count
- Fall events
- Walking steadiness, where the device provides it
It also stores the first name and age entered during setup, so a family member knows whose readings they are looking at.
Where it goes
Readings are written to your own private iCloud database, using your Apple Account. They are shared only with the people you explicitly invite, and only for reading — an invited caregiver cannot change your records or invite anyone else.
What we do not do
- We do not track you across apps or websites.
- We do not sell or share data with anyone, for any purpose.
- We do not use your health data to train any model.
- We do not write anything back to Apple Health.
The daily summary
The plain-English daily summary is produced entirely on your own device using Apple's on-device model. Nothing is sent to us or to any third party to generate it. Every figure in the summary is calculated arithmetically by the app, not written by the model.
Deleting your data
Because your readings live in your own iCloud, you control them. Deleting the app removes its local copy; to remove the synced copy, turn off iCloud for ElderGuard Link in Settings, or delete the container from your Apple Account's iCloud storage settings. Revoking a caregiver's invitation immediately ends their access.
Health permissions
ElderGuard Link only ever requests read access to the Health types listed above, plus a short workout session used to keep the watch awake long enough to send an emergency alert. You can withdraw any of these at any time in the Health app.
Not a medical device
ElderGuard Link is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it must not be relied upon as a substitute for medical care or emergency services. If someone needs help, call your local emergency number.
